Role Overview:
As our Content Strategist, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing Shane’s content strategy across YouTube and other platforms. This role goes beyond just writing—You’ll be part of the core team behind Shane’s content; you’ll be an active collaborator in content ideation, planning, and execution, ensuring every piece aligns with Shane’s brand and business goals.

Your work will directly contribute to:

Growing audience engagement.
Driving lead generation.
Increasing course sales.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Develop and refine content ideas that align with Shane’s brand and business goals.
Help write scripts, social media posts, and long-form content while maintaining Shane’s voice.
Research and integrate YouTube growth strategies into content planning.
Help with content creation, from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality output.
Assist in directing and recording content, ensuring it aligns with brand positioning.
Collaborate with the production team to optimize content for YouTube algorithms.
Analyze content performance and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and conversions.
Develop video concepts from initial brainstorming through scriptwriting and production planning.
Assist on ad hoc tasks including but not limited to: Creating presentations using Miro, Google Slides, or similar tools that translate Shane’s ideas into visually engaging narratives.

What We’re Looking For

Non-Negotiables:

Exceptional adaptability in writing style and tone.
Experienced in YouTube Growth – You understand YouTube’s algorithm, content trends, and strategies for scaling channels.
Skilled in Content Strategy – You can map out content plans that generate leads and conversions.
Creative & Adaptive – You can take raw ideas and refine them into engaging, structured content.
Has experience in Ghostwriting – You can write in someone else’s voice seamlessly.
Detail-Oriented & Deadline-Driven – You know how to manage content schedules and execute with precision
Ability to visualize and execute engaging presentations
Comfort with fluid schedules and occasional urgent requests
(Must Be Based in Davao) Willingness for periodic on-site collaboration

Bonus Points If You Have:

You thrive at the intersection of analytical and creative thinking. You're equally excited by diving deep into a client's speech patterns to nail their voice as you are conceptualizing an ambitious video series.
You're organized enough to manage multiple projects but flexible enough to pivot when inspiration (or urgent client needs) strikes.
Proven experience in content strategy, ghostwriting, or scriptwriting (preferably in the YouTube, coaching, or online education space)
Knowledge of YouTube marketing, SEO, and monetization strategies
Experience managing and growing YouTube accounts
Ability to direct, ideate, and execute content creation from start to finish
